Scottsbluff/Gering United Chamber’s annual “Operation Thank You” for chamber members had a different twist this year due to direct health measures. The Chamber of Commerce held two drive by distributions of gallon containers of hand sanitizer to chamber members this summer. Gering High School allowed the chamber to host pickup drive by in their teachers’ parking lot.
Nebraska’s fuel ethanol producers and the companies who supply and support the ethanol industry donated ingredients. Product was made at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Food Processing Center on the Nebraska Innovation Camps with guidance and direction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering.
If your business is in need of hand sanitizer, Scottsbluff/Gering United Chamber has some gallons left. You can pick them up at the chamber office located at 1517 Broadway, Suite 104 in Scottsbluff. Many thanks to the Nebraska fuel ethanol producers and the University of Nebraska for assisting area businesses in reopening.
