If you’re a Veteran or family member needing assistance and feel stuck because everyone else has told you no, give us a call.

We’re not the VA, therapists, or counselors; we’re a resource hub. Our job is to listen to your need and align you with vetted resources that can assist and move you forward in resolving your issue whether it’s VA or non-VA related.
Veterans & Family Advocacy
We’ve been successful in helping Veterans and families find more peace in their life by reducing stress, lessening anxiety, and restoring hope. We would like to help you.

Qualified Listeners is a Veteran & Family Resource Hub serving northern Colorado and southern Wyoming. For more information visit www.QualifiedListeners.org or call 720-600-0860.

Vouchers for Veterans

Qualified Listeners, a Veteran & Family Resource Hub serving northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, has partnered with ARC Thrift Stores and Canvas Credit Union to provide vouchers for Veterans to any ARC Thrift Store in Colorado.

The vouchers allow Veterans to purchase a complete clothing ensemble for job interviews, work, weddings, funerals, etc. This program is especially appropriate for recently discharged Veterans transitioning back into civilian life on a tight budget. If clothing isn’t needed the voucher can be used for other items in the store.

The process is simple, just email Resource@qualifiedlisteners.org a copy of your DD-214, VA card, VFW, DAV, or American Legion membership card along with your phone number and mailing address, we’ll mail you a voucher. One voucher per Veteran.

This program is another service to all Veterans from Qualified Listeners. For more information call 720-600-0860 or visit www.QualifiedListeners.org

Tips for Veterans & Families
Here is helpful information for Veterans and Families from Qualified Listeners, a Veteran & Family Resource Hub serving northern Colorado and southern Wyoming.

For Veterans enrolled in the VA Healthcare system and admitted to a non-VA emergency room or urgent care facility, the number to call for the VA Authorization Office is 1-888-795-0773, option 1. A Veteran DOES NOT have to call this number prior to being admitted to the ER or urgent care but must do so within 72 hours post admission.

If a Veteran is 100% disabled or retired from the military, and is in the Cheyenne VA Medical Center catchment area, call 307-778-7310 to check eligibility for dental benefits.

To transfer your records to the Cheyenne VA Medical Center catchment area, call 307-778-7555

If you fall and need help getting up, call your local fire department.

If you lock your keys in the car, call your local fire department.

If a Veteran or spouse needs transportation for medical appointments or local errands, call us. We have volunteers wanting to help.

Peak Form Medical Clinic Integrates Contact-less Temperature Screening Kiosk for Patients and Staff
Peak Form Medical Clinic, an essential business providing worker’s compensation injury care, physical therapy, and drug screening throughout the pandemic has instituted the use of a contact-less kiosk to accurately measure temperature of
patients and staff to aid in the check-in process to further minimize exposure risk in clinic.
The device includes a function which will identify staff and automatically log their temperatures prior to starting their shift. In addition, patient’s temperatures will be checked prior to entering the clinic, and the kiosk will be able to detect whether patients are wearing a mask and if not, the
device will verbally prompt them to put one on.
“We feel the investment of instituting the kiosk speaks directly to our mission and will provide patients and employers we partner with the confidence to continue to seek the medical services they need,” says Jeanette Hrubes, owner and CEO.
The Clinic has all CDC recommended safety guidelines in place to protect patients and staff; such as wearing masks and reducing the number of people in the clinic at any one time to maintain social distancing. The use of the high-tech kiosk will further enhance the protections to safely provide comprehensive care with a personal touch through promoting the health and
productivity of workers, their families and communities.
