Daily Reflection:
Friday, April 17, 2020
When this pandemic is behind us, will we fall back to sleep again, or will we allow this disease to help us look at life, the world, and our global economy in a new way?
And for us, as Christians, will we take the leap of faith and allow ourselves to imagine a world view that is rooted in the Gospel?
Or will we choose to dismiss the opportunity and allow life to be as we knew it before?
I should hope not!
Please take time to read and reflect upon Pope Francis’ Easter Message, given on Sunday, April 12, 2020:

This pandemic has reminded us that life cannot go back to the way it was…we are a Global Village…we are all interconnected…we either help each other to survive together, or if we choose only to continue to compete with each other, we will die together.
The Scriptures share with us this message over and over again: “I set before you life and death…choose life!”
