THE BEST OF DAYS AND THE WORST OF DAYS
As I have been praying this week, I heard the Spirit say that things will be rough in 2021. He specifically said that many that walk in offense without repenting will die. Now that is a strong statement, but I believe it is true. God is “cleaning house.” 2020 has been a year of great change. Many lives have been lost, but there are also lives that have been won to the Lord. Both of these things signify the days that we are in. We are in the process of the best of days and the worst of days.
Jesus told us through the word of God that there would be many signs that would precede the time of his return. Earthquakes, volcanoes, rioting, terrorism, lack of respect for parents are just a few of the things. We have seen more earthquakes in the past few years than many previous years combined. One doesn’t have to look far to see chaos in the streets and rioting. The alcohol and drug scene in young and old alike have grown exponentially. Sex trafficking and pornography are rampant.
Yes, these may be called the birth pangs of what is to come. Before the return of the Lord there will be major calamities with 1/3 of the population of the earth dying from calamities. Then it will happen to another 1/3 before His return. That is 2/3rds of the world’s population that will die, some going to heaven, and some lost for eternity in hell. Most preachers say very little about this, but we must warn people to get their hearts right with God before it is too late. Dying without Christ leaves only one fact – an eternity in hell with no way out.
So, what are the best of days? I truly believe that there is a remnant that will rise up, and start declaring the goodness of God, and bring the end time harvest into being. Most people are waiting for this to take place instead of being the ones that bring it to pass. I don’t want to step on toes, but most people never witness. In math if you double numbers from 1 to 10 it doesn’t take long to have a large number. If everyone reading this witnessed and led one soul to Christ, cities could change!
I want to challenge you to start sharing Christ with others. A simple way to do it is to ask this question: “If you died from the Coronavirus, do you know for sure you would go to heaven?” Then let them answer. If they say "no", then say this: “If you could know for sure, I am sure you would want to know, right?” If they say "yes", then tell them how much Jesus loves them and that he died for their sin. Then ask them to pray with you to receive him as Savior.
Hard? No. I have done it hundreds of times and have seen many come to Christ. That will make 2021 the best year ever because one soul will be pulled out of hell. Don’t think about the bad stuff my friends. It will happen. Think on the goodness of God and that these days are your best days ever!
Will you take the challenge?
