Bob Bull Winter Coat Drive
|
Starting Sunday, November 1st
Bob Bull was a strong voice in our community for the least, the last, and the lost. He started the coat drive to provide warm jackets and coats to those in need and we continue annually, in his honor. Please place clean, gently used coats in the bin marked COAT DRIVE, located in the church Narthex. We will donate the coats to local homeless shelters.

Sunday, November 1st, after the 11:00 service
Bob Bull was a member here who always served the least, the last and the lost among us. A window has been placed in the hallway in his memory and will be dedicated Sunday, after the 11:00 service. All are invited to attend this dedication.

Focus on Health Blood Drive
|
Saturday, November 14th, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Blood donors are very special people and costs nothing to give yet is more valuable than any other resource on earth. Our next blood drive is happening soon and you are invited to give the gift of life.
All donations are used locally and a donation bus provided by Carter Blood Care will be located in the parking lot in the back of the church. Safety protocols will be strictly adhered and they will see only three donors at a time. Plus, to combat the decline in supply, Carter Blood Care is offering free COVID-19 antibody testing for people who donate blood.
Sign up here to schedule a time or if you prefer to sign up manually, there is a sign-up sheet at the Connection Center. If you have any questions contact Joy Moore. Please consider making a lifesaving donation!
C'mon! We know you've got it in you!

As we move into virtual worship and other gatherings for the foreseeable future, now is a great time to connect with online giving to ensure that the ministries and outreach of the church are not interrupted.
There are two basic ways to give electronically, and both are quick and simple.
- The best option is to give via a direct transfer from your checking account. This is fee-free for you and the church. Simply fill out the accompanying ACH form and send it in to the church office along with a voided check. You can mail it to Aledo UMC, PO Box 126, Aledo, TX 76008.
-
Or you can text "aledoumc" to 77977. This will connect you to a service called PushPay, which will allow you to give electronically to the church using either a credit card or debit card. You will receive a text back with instructions guiding you through setting up your gift. You can give either a one-time gift or set up weekly or monthly giving through PushPay.
