COVID Changes for Fall/Winter
COVID UPDATES FOR FALL AND WINTER:

We are so grateful for all of you who have been watching our pre-recorded videos and coming in for yoga classes. We appreciate your support and your commitment to your practice and to Inner Connections Yoga. We have amazing students, teachers, and volunteers who support the studio in innumerable ways. We receive gifts, donations, lots of positive support, smiling eyes, and more! We are truly blessed!

ICY has not had to contact trace for anyone in the studio since we reopened on May 12th AND no cases of COVID exposure has occurred within the studio. It seems our protocols are working! We ask that you stay vigilant to help keep yourself and the members of the studio safe.

ENTERING AND EXITING STUDIO
Masks must be worn when you enter the studio and in all public places (halls, bathrooms, removing shoes, any time you are not on your mat). We practice social distancing so once you are on your mat, you may take off your mask. Please put your mask back on any time you are not on your mat. Masks are not required in the salt room once you are in your chair, which are 6 feet apart from each other.

ENTRYWAY
To Social Distance while you are entering the studio, we are adding an additional coat rack on the opposite side of the entryway.

Please:
  • Remember that it is mandatory that you preregister for any service at ICY before you enter the studio
  • Wait in your car until the entrance looks clear
  • Allow those in front of you to remove their shoes and coat
  • Hang your coat to the right or left of the entry door
  • If you have shoes that are ankle height or lower, hang coat in entryway, remove your shoes, and place them, along with your silenced phone & keys, in a locker in back
  • If your shoes are taller than ankle height and won't fit in locker, please leave your shoes/boots to the right of the door, either in cubbies or under the benches
  • When classes are over, LEAVE LOCKER OPEN SO WE CAN CLEAN IT
  • Space yourselves as you leave class so that the shoe area is not overcrowded.
  • Do not wear shoes past the entryway carpet
  • Do not gather on the shoe bench to socialize (COVID restriction);

ICY LIVE ZOOM CLASSES
  • Soon we will Zoom some of our classes and you can join your favorite classes from home! Teachers will be on Zoom as they teach at the studio and students from home will be able to sign up and join the in-studio classes
  • The camera will not be on students in the class; if you Zoom from your home, you may be on the TV monitor
  • Join Zoom 15 minutes early to see friends and chat. Classes will start and end on time and students will be muted during the class. Some of the Zoom classes will be moved to our pre-recorded library for you to see later
  • We will send out directions as soon as all systems are connected, work, and instructors feel comfortable operating the equipment. We look forward to supporting your home practice if you are not coming into the studio

  • Space is limited in all workshops; please register EARLY to reserve your space
