Welcome to the February NPHL E-News 2022 Edition
Updates from The Nebraska Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), featuring one or more articles each month. NPHL shares important laboratory and public health information, keeping clinical labs up to date about issues in Nebraska and around the world.
CDC-APHL Fellowship / Internship Programs
APHL and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) partner to offer a variety of laboratory fellowship programs to train and prepare scientists for careers in public health laboratories and support public health initiatives. As a recipient of American Rescue Plan funding, APHL is expanding its current fellowship program offerings and recruiting for two classes of fellows in 2022—​with​ ​assignments beginning in January 2022 and Summer 2022—​and adding a new Internship Initiative​, which​ will begin assignments in Summer 2022. Applications are due February 28, 2022.
