Happy New School Year Husky Community,

I hope that the last two days have been affirming and engaging for your child, and that you all are enthusiastic about the year ahead. Yesterday morning, new and returning students joined a school-wide ZOOM to a Kick-Off Morning Meeting, reciting the Husky Pledge, hearing from arts and athletics, and the annual “banging of the tam-tam” got us started. It was an epic start and an unprecedented format, and the meeting can be viewed by clicking the button below if you’d like to see us in action (it can also be found on the "Announcements and Events" page under the "Community" tab of our website).
Earlier than ever this year, we are looking forward to Back to School Night next Wednesday, September 2nd from 5:00pm- 8:00pm. We have a busy night planned with opportunities for you to meet with advisors and teachers throughout the evening to get a glimpse of the year ahead for your child. Next week you will receive specific instructions regarding the logistics and schedule for the evening. Thanks so much in advance for your virtual attendance on this important night.

Each week, our Friday Letter includes a "Things To Know" section directly below my letter. Please read this section every week to stay informed and up-to-date. Additional information regarding Back-To-School night can be found in this week's "Things To Know" section.

Welcome again to the 2019-20 School Year- it’s going to be an exciting one!

Thanks as always for your partnership,

David
