Overview:
The General Counsel will serve as a fully engaged member of the senior management team in the resolution of a wide range of legal and general management issues, including the oversight of day-to-day issues. This position will counsel on issues of major importance to the company including the development of short and long-range strategic goals and objectives of CVP that help to ensure achievement of its mission and vision. He or she will exercise hands-on management responsibility over all CVP legal affairs and provide counsel to CVP business and leadership. The General Counsel will report to the CEO and be located in Philadelphia, PA.

Compensation:
A competitive compensation package, consisting of a base salary, bonus and long term incentive, will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate's level of experience.
 
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of legal experience, which should include experience as a General Counsel or other senior level in house counsel. A strong general corporate background and experience and familiarity with issues attendant to being a general counsel are required, including experience with commercial agreements and transactions (acquisitions, partnerships, divestitures, joint ventures, etc.), corporate governance, compliance, employment, real estate leasing, litigation, regulatory and privacy. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated hands-on operations focus, a reputation for ethics and integrity, as well as superior interpersonal and communication skills.
