Extension Master Gardener Training Class  are now available online




Ginseng Seed Available
There is a limited amount of ginseng seed available from the Ginseng Workshops held last month.  If you are interested in purchasing seed in quarter pound packages contact the Cooperative Extension office at 828.884.3109 or email [email protected].  
Seed is $40 per quarter pound and quantities are limited.

Disaster relief program for Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Rutherford and Transylvania counties to open for affected producers
RALEIGH - Starting Nov. 6, farmers in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Rutherford and Transylvania counties will be able to sign up for the NCDA&CS Agricultural Disaster Program. The sign-up period will begin Nov. 6 and will end on Nov. 20.

Transylvania County Beekeepers Association 
Transylvania County officially has a state recognized Beekeepers Association! This Association is dedicated to education and awareness of the importance of bees and beekeeping. All are welcome to come to learn or ask questions. 

Next meeting is Friday November 22nd at 7:00
