A PERSONAL NOTE

A few nights ago, I removed my eyeglasses and hooked them onto the outer pocket of a robe hanging from a closet door rack... but as I did so, I "heard" my intuition saying that I'd forget them there. This message was crystal clear, in words not vague feelings. Later, when downstairs, I searched for my glasses and
remembered that I'd left them on that robe. My hubby got them for me, and the problem was solved.
But that got me wondering: If an inner voice told me in advance that this would happen, was that precognition? Was it a Plan to be carried out? (Precognition, I'd thought, was about knowing that something would happen to someone else.) Since I'd heard it consciously yet still stumbled through the actions of mindlessness, what part of me gave me the heads-up, and what part of me subsequently became absent-minded?
This odd sensation/realization is hard to explain unless you were there, "in my shoes". It feels similar to the time, long ago, when my guides The Brotherhood of Light Workers first logged on and told me "They" would help spread the wisdom.
"Who", I immediately questioned, were "They"?! It's the weirdest feeling to hear yourself clairaudiently talking to yourself but from different planes. This isn't schizophrenia (though some psychics may question their sanity initially). It's the recognition of your higher self, coming through to validate the differing dimensions or frequencies that your mind can inhabit.
Has anyone else had such experiences?
My feeling is that this particular occurrence was a set-up, a design of some significance, to drive home the point that the real controller of the drama is one's guides, not one's ego! Obviously, I still have a ways to go to learn this, huh!

DEC 2019 ASTRO TIDBITS
For the World, December begins pleasantly (
Venus sextile Mars
), with good prospects for deals and treaties (
Mercury sextile Pluto
) and a focus on business growth (
Jupiter into Capricorn
), although excess spending might be a weakness (
Venus conjunct SN
). Week 2 offers idealism, financial caution, and healing potential (
Venus sextile Neptune, conjunct Saturn; Mars trine Neptune
). Mid-month is a time for lucky breaks or windfalls (
Jupiter sextile Uranus
). From the 18th - 20th, patience helps (
Mars sextile Saturn
) but deals shouldn't be finalized (
Mercury square Neptune
). The 22nd-23rd indicate sudden economic loss (
Venus square Uranus
) but a chance to work on resolving persistent conflicts (

).
In the U.S., people are angry and combative (

). The focus moves from goals and allies then to secrets (

). The first third of the month is very mixed: idealism and religiosity vie with confusion (

TRY CUDDLING AND SPOONING
Has your relationship hit a bad patch? Have you stopped communicating deeply? Do you feel that love - that tender feeling - has gone away, is lost, maybe never to return between the two of you? Are you feeling sad and bad
, and distant from each other, from the one you used to feel so close with, so kindly bent towards? Have you lost that loving feeling?
Try cuddling and spooning!
Cuddling, Wikipedia tells us, is a "form of physical intimacy in which two people hold one another with each other's arms wrapped around the other's body for an extended period of time." Cuddling, we're told," is a more affectionate and intimate embrace, normally done for a longer period of time (usually lasting from a few minutes to several hours), in contrast to hugging." It's an action that is "usually shared between two people who are lying down together or sitting somewhere in an intimate manner." Finally, cuddling, we learn, makes the body release oxytocin, the "love hormone," important in bonding.
How can this possibly be disliked?
People who have grown apart may not be holding hands, kissing, or making love any more, and there may be such a great divide between them that the idea of physical intimacy is repugnant. However, it's at just such a rift that cuddling might be the non-sexual, easy-to-manage, brief but powerful action that can begin to flip the bad relationship back around again into those feelings you had at the beginning.
Spooning is yet another action, very similar to cuddling, in which both of you lay on your sides, with one person's back against the other's chest, and perhaps both sets of knees bent and tucked in. It's called spooning because, obviously, it's like two spoons "nested together in a drawer", according to
Dictionary.com.
Both of these actions produce warmth - actual physical transfer of body temperature; they produce feelings of safety and security, helpful since we are essentially creatures who enjoy and need the group experience; and, all importantly, they allow two people to nuzzle, or to talk in a way that is neither argumentative nor judgmental, and perhaps not even terribly consequential (a form of communication sometimes called "sweet nothings"). Both behaviors entail positions that are especially comfortable!
Try cuddling if you are at the end of your rope. Try it instead of an expensive therapist or marital counselor. Try it with the clear understanding that no sexual behavior is required. Cuddling and hugging can be done in all other forms of human interactions, too, including family ties and platonic friendships. It's non-demanding, very effective, and extremely enjoyable. It may be the simplest answer to difficult patches in important relationships.

BOOK REVIEW:
"Infinite Mind: An Exploration of Psi and the Capabilities of the Human Mind" - by Kim Forrester, Singapore, 2016
In one of those delightful cosmic coincidences, this book arrived in my mail by accident... sort of. An acquaintance had recommended a book by the same title, extolling its theories, and so I decided to order it on Amazon. An email indicated there was some delay because it was coming from Singapore, which struck me as a little odd, but, you know, it's Amazon! When the book arrived and I mentioned it to my acquaintance she questioned the name of the author and told me it wasn't the right book. I examined it more closely, went back to Amazon's page, and realized that there were two books of the exact same title, Infinite Mind, by two completely different (women) authors, and I had not bothered to check because the book I ordered was at the top of the list.
Anyhow, as I started reading it, I was very glad that I had ordered this one... or should I say that this one was the one that had landed in my mailbox.
Infinite Mind is subtitled An Exploration of Psi and the Capabilities of the Human Mind; the author, Kim Forrester, describes herself as an intuitive, consultant, writer and educator. I really like the format of the book because it presents personal stories of a variety of psychic or intuitive abilities that humans are capable of, and follows each with a very erudite and cogent explanation of these talents, along with some history and usage such as in military endeavors and commercial application, and always uses a scientific approach.
The cover blurb promises that "you'll read how a dream not only revealed winning lottery numbers but saved an entire community, how a famous assassination was foreseen... by the victim, and how quantum physics holds the key to a new understanding of psychic phenomena."
I've read many books on this topic and of course, as my readers know, I have several of these abilities myself, giving me firsthand experience of what might otherwise to some people seem weird or unreal. So, the enjoyment that I brought to the book was in the personal stories of other people, contemporary or from the past, unknown or famous, who depended on gut feelings or intuition, or who foresaw events, and who had other experiences that further suggest proof of such phenomena.
Some of these stories include a woman who saved herself at the last moment from a bomb explosion even though her protective action was quite illogical; a woman who dreamt of her future husband; how Winston Churchill as a young prisoner of war was serendipitously saved (probably by cosmic design) so that he could fulfill his future role; how astronaut Edgar Mitchell returning in his spacecraft to Earth had a transcendent experience that motivated him to found the Institute of Noetic Sciences; how a clairaudient message saved a woman from random gunshots; and another woman from dying in a car crash; how a military guy used his extraordinary abilities to remotely view secret enemy targets; how deceased loved ones visit or appear with important messages; how a couple avoided the terrible recent tsunami by listening to the wife's insistent but illogical need to take an excursion away from the danger area during vacation; how hotelier Conrad Hilton listened to his irrational hunch to purchase his first hotel despite its rundown condition; and many more such stories.
The basic point is that human beings have a variety of paranormal abilities, some of which help their survival in moments of crisis or prior to the disaster, some of which guide them to their ultimate mission in this life, some of which can be used in practical fashion for business success or military defense and in many other ways, and that these abilities are perfectly normal and scientifically explainable, and that society is becoming more accepting and interested in such, and even desirous of developing these abilities for individuals. The stories were fun and the follow-up expository material satisfying. Recommended. 4 stars.

In an instant, your mind can, will, and should travel to the edges of the universe or to a next-door neighbor, unfettered, free, and with the gift of thought.
Thought, nary considered as such, is the ability all humans have to formulate the reality that is felt, seen, heard, smelled, touched, or understood, and to put all this into a framework of words, grunts, musical notes, or sometimes wordless expressions such as art that help a person to structure a world, a reality.
Thought is the gift that travels and ranges far and wide instantaneously. Thought is faster than light. Thought knows no bounds except that which has been enculturated or limited by another's beliefs. This would include brainwashing and perhaps even parental programming. But one may become unconstrained from such restrictions, to open the mind and thus become awake.
When thought is not constricted, all manner of ideas, and hence words or definitions, can follow. In this realm of unfettered thought and freedom of the mind, sometimes false structures can be built. These become known as false when contrasted against others' realities or against the laws of nature. A false belief is as real to the person as anything that contains more truth but the person will not grasp this until encountering that which punctures the delusion.
People thus can live for days or years holding false notions just as they can do so holding notions that hold up against others' realities and natural laws. And some of these people can be understood as insane but most as simply deluded. It is the mind's job, therefore, to understand and build reality in such a way that a personal reality is in harmony with the greater reality of the group or even human race, and also that of natural law.
Once achieved, unfettered thought delights in discovering its range, its possibilities, and primarily the joy of imaginative thinking. We will speak more of this at a later time. Now, simply observe your thoughts and notice where and why some may be constricted and also where and why some may be unrealistic.
