My Journey with Sumi
by KC Mehta

Sumi was diagnosed with younger onset Alzheimer’s at age 59. She and husband KC, had been happily married for more than 40 years, but KC had done little caregiving. He shares his journey in Caregiver Connection to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease and help others in similar situations find solace.

"KC, keep fighting the fight for all of us. It is very important we tell our stories to whoever will listen, so the next caregiver might have it a little easier."
Mike, Alzheimer's caregiver
