Bill Sasse, P.E. Becomes Technical Lead for Root-Pike WIN
Former Director of Engineering and Board President Takes on New Role

Greetings!

The Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network is exciting to announce that there is an old member of our team now working with Root-Pike WIN in a  new  capacity. William D. “Bill” Sasse has been a member of the Root-Pike WIN organization for nearly 20 years, including being a member on the Executive Board and a past Board President. Although he has stepped down from the Board now, he has been hired on as a consultant to act as the “Technical Lead” for projects that Root-Pike WIN will be completing in field restoration work as part of their implementation plan for the watersheds within the organization’s area of concern.

Bill will bring his 42 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering where he has worked in both private consulting and municipal engineering positions. He brings his many years of work in the fields of residential and commercial development with perspectives from both sides of growth and natural resource protection.

Bill has retired from his last position of Director of Engineering with the Village of Mount Pleasant and is probably most notably known for his many years of planning, designing, and managing the Pike River Restoration within the Village of Mount Pleasant.
Root-Pike WIN is very pleased to have Bill working in this new capacity with the organization, as he is delighted to be able to make a difference in the water quality of our streams, the blended effort of development while protecting our environmental resources, and the continued community growth of a place where people want to live.
