Our mission at Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc., is to rescue huskies that are displaced, unwanted, abused, lost, abandoned or scheduled for euthanasia and provide them with a second chance at life by finding them permanent homes.

We rescued Sunny back in September 2018 and he was adopted by a family in October. They called us today telling us we need to find him a new home TODAY and threatened to take him back to the shelter! That is not going to happen!! We're picking him up and taking him to our vet for boarding until Sunday when we have our adoption event at PetSmart in Menifee, CA from 12-3pm! We would love for him to be in a home environment if possible until Sunday if anyone in Murrieta/Temecula/Menifee/Lake Elsinore is able to foster Sunny until we find him a new FOREVER home. Sunny's adopters say that he has been destructive when they leave for a few hours and can't handle it anymore. They put him in crates and have a dog walker but he manages to get out of the crate due to extreme Separation Anxiety! We need someone that is dedicated and husky savvy to foster or adopt Sunny and give him the love, attention and exercise he needs to live a happy life! Contact us if you or anyone you know might be able to foster or adopt Sunny! He is good with kids and other dogs.

Some adoptions this month...

These are some of our available huskies looking for forever homes. They are all unique and deserve the best home possible for them. If you or anyone you know are interested in adopting one or more of these beautiful huskies please fill out our adoption application and email it over to us at masterwolf@shadowhuskyrescue.com. You can also come to our Adoption Events every Sunday from 12-3pm at PetSmart in Menifee, CA to meet some of the adoptable huskies!

Peaches is a super sweet human oriented husky mix. She is not socialized with other dogs and does not seem to like them. She might be able to be worked with and trained to tolerate other dogs but she should be the only dog in the home. She is great with children and all people. She is very loving and wants to be right next to you.

Mally is our miracle husky that went through many surgeries since we first rescued him at 5 months old. He is now a little over a year and is ready for his forever home! Mally has three legs but gets around with no issues and loves to play! We would love to adopt him out with Laska if possible.
|
|
|
|
|
Laska is a beautiful girl looking for a forever home. She just had knee surgery to repair luxating patellas but is healing great! She is super sweet and loves people! We would love to adopt her out with Mally if possible.

Cooper is a great dog. He gets along well with other big dogs and loves to play. He is great with kids and would be an awesome dog for an active family that can give him the attention and love he deserves!

|
A family reached out to us to help find a forever home for River, a red and white male husky who is about 2 years old. They rescued him from a guy outside of a Home Depot trying to sell him for $500 or he would take him to the shelter. They have kept him for a while but have two other dogs and can't foster him any more. He is a super sweet boy, loves to be with people and likes other dogs. He is an escape artist so he would be best with a family that is home a lot with him, he loves to be inside right by your feet. He would be the perfect family dog, loves to run and play but is really mellow. Great on a leash as well.

Snowden is a very special boy and is need of an adopter that can give him the love, attention, and patience he needs. He is a very sweet boy once he knows he is safe and you can be trusted. He needs time to warm up to people and does not like to have his face touched unless he shows he wants to be pet. He was rescued from the shelter, before that he was living on the street. We would like him in a home with a couple or single person, no kids please. He will make a great loyal companion for someone that is willing to give him the time and dedication he needs to get comfortable.

Koshoo is looking for a forever home that can give him the attention, care, and exercise he needs to live a happy life. He is a beautiful husky mix who is about 3 years old.
|

|
Lexi is a husky/corgi mix. She is great with other dogs and people! Super sweet and very mellow!
|
