Jewelry That Makes You Think.

The Young Artist Award (YAA) recognizes innovative work created by a jewelry artist early in their career. Through the YAA, Art Jewelry Forum supports new and exciting work that will direct the future development of the art jewelry field.

The biennial competition offers a prize of US$7,500 for the winner and US$1,000 for each of the four finalists, as well as an exhibition at Schmuck—art jewelry's biggest and most prestigious annual event—in March 2022.

Ambitious contemporary jewelry artists age 35 and under are invited to apply for this international prize in contemporary art jewelry, which acknowledges promise, innovation, and individuality, and advances the careers of rising artists. The distinguished jurors are collector and gallerist Karen Rotenberg, curator Chequita Nahar, and 2020 YAA winner MJ Tyson.

Applications close January 9, 2022.
