NOTE FOR THE SELF EMPLOYED
Self-employed Tennesseans, you can apply for unemployment now. This includes independent contractors, freelance workers, substitute teachers, childcare workers (employed by a church or nonprofit). When you file, you'll see a message stating you're monetarily ineligible. This does not mean your claim has been denied, or you did anything wrong. As soon as the federal govt. allows, TN will disperse your benefits.

Here's some FAQs
Apply at www.Jobs4TN.gov (Click File a Claim under Unemployment Benefits tab)
