Early Childhood
Our parish offers several programs for preschool-aged children and their guardians. Join the planning committee, meet other moms at the playgroup or burn off energy at the Open Gym.
Mom's Group meets every other Tuesday from 9:30-11am. Our next gathering will be December 17th. Childcare available with
pre-registration.
The 6th Annual Trivia Night (& movie night for children up to 10 years old) will be Saturday, January 25th, 6-8:30pm. Join us for pizza and a little friendly competition as teams of couples compete against each other. Please register by Jan. 20th.

Dear Parents,
Happy second week of Advent! Our school is abuzz with excitement and anticipation! We celebrated Mass this morning for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (no Mass on Wed. of this week).
Our Advent Wreath candle prayer will be led by the 5th grade this week. The K5 students will be singing for the Young At Heart and the first grade will be presenting the annual Nativity Play! The entire school is busy preparing for our Christmas concert. You are in for a real treat!
Thank you to those who have brought in mittens and hats for our outreach project. They will be presented to Robyn's Nest. This is an outlet of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Please continue to send them in and we will put them on our Advent Tree. Also, the gifts for the parish Giving Tree are due this week. Details can be found below.

Report Card Envelopes
Report cards were sent home prior to break. Please sign and return the envelope (keep the report card).
Advent Tree and Giving Tree
We are collecting WATERPROOF mittens and warm hats again to decorate our Advent tree. In addition, we will be taking part in the St. Anthony Giving Tree. If you choose to participate in the Giving Tree, all items should be brought to school by this Friday, Dec. 13th or brought to Mass the weekend of Dec. 14th/15th.
Spirit Wear, Dec. 13th
Students are invited to wear their Mustang spirit wear tops and non-uniform bottoms.
Open House and Car Magnets
Open House is just around the corner (Jan. 26th)! In lieu of yard signs, the marketing committee has ordered promotional car magnets this year. Help spread the word about our event & advertise our school by putting a magnet on your car! Magnets are the size of a bumper sticker and will be available after the Christmas concert. Watch for more details about Open House in the weeks to come and please consider volunteering to help with the event! Open House Volunteer Opportunities
Christmas Concert and Culver's Night, Dec. 17th
Our Christmas Concert will be slightly different this year.
Please have your child arrive by 5:45pm (band students at 5:30).
The band will begin right at 6pm. Our K3-K5 students will perform after the band and may leave the concert after their own performance.

for more info. Head to the Culver's on Grandview Blvd. before or after the concert. Hours are extended to accommodate our concert! Drive-thru or eat-in any time between 5 and 9pm and 10% will be donated to our school. Scrip will only be sold AT CHURCH the night of the concert.
TADS Tuition, Due Dec. 20th
You should have received an email from TADS informing you of the tuition amount due this month. Because of an internal error, the tuition due date was moved. Please pay by Dec. 20th. For those with automatic withdrawal, the tuition will be withdrawn on Dec. 20th.

Winter Coat Drive, Dec. 7-15th
Place new or gently used coats on the rack in the Gathering Space. Adult sizes will go to St. Dismas Jail Ministry. Children's coats will go to SVdP meal sites. Gloves, hats and scarves also appreciated.

Return unwrapped gifts Dec. 14th and 15th to the Gathering Space.

K5 made candy canes out of beads and pipe cleaners and Christmas cards to send to the soldiers overseas. The husband of Mrs. Z's niece (a SAL alumn), is overseas currently and will hand them out.

The 8th grade girls' basketball team won the consolation championship at St. John Vianney last week. Way to go!
The 6th grade boys' team took 2nd place in the Wauwatosa Catholic St. Nick's basketball tournament Sunday. Congrats boys!
