Three key data points for Louisiana credit unions...
CUAnalyzer makes it easy to compare Louisiana Credit Union League versus the peer group of your choice, such as all credit unions in Louisiana. Thanks to Callahan's early data program, 99% of the credit union industry, by assets, are available weeks before the NCUA's early December data release. Here are three key ratios to get you started:

Data Point 1: Share growth among Louisiana credit unions accelerated from 5.3% to 5.7% driven by a 28.0% increase in share certificate balances.

Data Point 2: Total members grew by 1.5% - outpacing 2Q19's 1.0% rate.

Data Point 3: Return on assets (ROA) fell 5 basis points, from 0.75% to 0.70%.

Campus Federal Supports LSU Medical Alumni Association Purple and Gold Gala
Campus Federal team members attended the LSU Medical Alumni Association "A Night Under the Stars" 14th Annual Purple and Gold Gala at the New Orleans Marriott. The event included a silent auction, gourmet cuisine and entertainment by Louisiana Spice.

The gala remains one of the largest fundraiser events for the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. It also helps to provide support for the Russell C. Klein M.D. Center for Advanced Practice, a state-of-the-art facility providing excellent tools, education and training activities.
Louisiana FCU's Tribe Excursion Builds Unity, Helps Sick Children
This October, Louisiana Federal Credit Union (FCU) employees got into the spirit of giving by participating in a day of team building and corporate social responsibility to benefit Children's Hospital New Orleans.

The "Tribe Excursion" started with a scavenger hunt through the French Quarter, followed by lunch at Audubon Park. At the park, employees assembled more than 90 comfort bags for Children's Hospital that will help to keep young patients entertained and occupied before surgery. The bags included items such as Play-Doh, coloring books, and stickers - as well as more than 100 hand-written encouragement cards from staff.

"Events like this help our staff form happy relationships outside of the workplace setting," said Rhonda Hotard, President/CEO of Louisiana FCU. "I'm grateful we were able to share some of that joy with the patients at Children's Hospital."

In addition to creating comfort bags, credit union staff worked together to design a vibrant 4' x 5' coloring board that is to be displayed in the hospital's board room.
