A Message from the LWP Director
Good Day to all our City of Loveland Water and Power customers – The COVID-19 situation continues to change and evolve even as I sit here writing this piece. What’s going to happen tomorrow? Next week? Next month? Unfortunately, I can’t give you an answer to those questions, but what I can give you is this assurance: that the men and women of the Department of Water and Power will be on the job ensuring that the water keeps flowing, the power is on, and that clean, treated wastewater is returned to the Big Thompson River.
Utility service shut-offs suspended through April 30
The City of Loveland’s moratorium on utility service shut-offs has been extended through April 30. Likewise, late fees will not be assessed during that period.

Prior to April 30, the policy will be reevaluated as the City’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve.
Update from the Efficiency Works Team
Due to stay at home orders issued by t he state of Colorado and Larimer County in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Efficiency Works has suspended all non-essential in-person services to ensure the safety of those involved in our programs.

Services deemed essential by the orders or those that can be performed remotely by Efficiency Works team members are continuing to operate. Our remote team is processing rebate applications for those essential programs as they are received. Efficiency Works will communicate updates with advisors, service providers and customers and ensure that all program offerings will be up and running as soon as we are able to operate safely.
Attention Food Service Establishments
If your food service establishment is CLOSED due to the COVID-19 virus, you may request an exemption from maintaining the grease removal device.

If your establishment is operating on a limited basis (Take-out, Drive-thru, etc.) you may be able to extend the maintenance frequency of the grease removal device.
