Job Search Bootcamp  
 

The School of Business Administration and Extended Learning is sponsoring a free workshop on finding your dream job - Saturday November 16th, 2013 from 9:00 until 4:00 in CC 115.  Bring your own lunch or buy from the cafeteria. We will cover job targeting, resumes and cover letters, and interviewing.

Senior Legacy Coffee House

 
The Class of 2014 Senior Legacy Committee is hosting a Coffee House night on Saturday, November 16 at 8pm in the Campus Center.  The coffee house will feature a variety of performers and also a trivia game for all attendees. The cost of admission is $5 and includes a baked good and beverage. Proceeds from this event will go to the Senior Legacy Campaign, which allows the Class of 2014 to leave a legacy gift for the University after their graduation.  Last year, the Class of 2013 used their legacy campaign to expand the Campus Center Chapel.  They appreciate your support and giving!


Bowling for Baby Bennett

 

Holy Family Sports Information Director Greg Pellegrino and his wife Mary welcomed their first child, Bennett Anthony, into the world oJune 12th at 5:28 pm. Bennett was born 3.5 months premature and weighed in at 1 lb. 2oz. He is currently receiving extensive medical intervention at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Come out for a night of bowling and fun in support of Bennett and the Pellegrino family.  

 

Bowling for Baby Bennett will be held Monday, November 25th from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am at Thunderbird Lanes (3081 Holme Avenue).  The event will include glow bowling, music, a 50/50 raffle and baskets.  The cost is $25 per person which includes food, soda, bowling and shoe rental.

Legacy Admission and Assistance

Legacy Admission and Assistance is available to the following relatives of Holy Family University (or College) graduates:

  • Child, Grandchild, Great-grandchild

  • Sibling

  • Spouse

  • Parent, Grandparent

  • Niece or Nephew, Child or Grandchild of Niece or Nephew

...who 1) completes an application for admission to Holy Family, 2) has earned a high school diploma 3) with a high school grade point average of at least 2.5, 4) has SAT math and verbal scores totaling at least 800, and 5) enrolls as a full-time undergraduate student at Holy Family.

What benefits are available?

Qualified Legacies receive:

  • Admission to the Holy Family University and

  • Guaranteed non-loan financial assistance of at least $4,000 per year for as long as the student remains in good standing.

ZUMBA @ HF
Every Wednesday at 6pm, Jenna Spadaccino '13 hosts ZUMBA class in the Campus Center. This class is open to students, staff, faculty and alumni and completely FREE.  The last ZUMBA class of the semester will be November 20. 
 
We hope you'll join us for some fun and exercise this week!

The Holy Family Annual Fund Appeal is underway.  Hard copy and electronic
