2020 Harvest Campaign
Did you know that every single dollar of the net proceeds raised in the Houston Bar Foundation's Harvest Campaign goes to Houston Volunteer Lawyers? Your contribution to the Harvest Campaign enables HVL to continue to make differences like these in people's lives:
  • an autistic adult was able to communicate with his Vietnamese-speaking parents about his desires for independent living and supportive assistance in decision-making;
  • an expecting mother managing a high-risk pregnancy settled her IRS tax debt, which allowed her to focus on her pregnancy and recovery.

The purpose of the campaign is to fund programming at HVL. None of the amount of the net proceeds are spent at the Houston Bar Association or the Houston Bar Foundation.

If you have already contributed to the 2020 Harvest Campaign, thank you. If you have not yet had a chance to support this Campaign, please click here to contribute online.

Help Keep Families Together
The HBA has gathered resources for the public and attorneys on our Evictions webpage, hba.org/evictions.

Houston Volunteer Lawyers needs your help to take cases for evictions, guardianship, Chapter 7, veterans, and Spanish-speaking clients. If you are interested in volunteering, email evictionvolunteer@hvlp.org to take an eviction case, or visit hvl.legalserver.org or contact Brittany Krohn at brittany.krohn@hvlp.org for other types of cases.
