ANOTHER SOUTH SOUND SUMMIT IN THE BOOKS!
The appeal to attend last Wednesday’s annual South Sound Summit at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center — and to stay for the entire event — was almost too good for any local businessperson to resist. The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber’s day-long gathering offered updates from key business leaders, breakout sessions, important dialogue surrounding a $300 million community project, and a compelling keynote from a dynamic, local veteran-entrepreneur.

NO SPEECHES - JUST CONVERSATION
Meet and mingle with your public officials at a relaxed, informal, and festive gathering. 300+ public officials and business community members with delicious hors d'oeuvres, and live music!

PLUS Attendees will get private access to Tacoma Art Museum's!

I-5 MAJOR PROJECT NEARS COMPLETION
After 11 long years for travelers in the area, the construction to increase capacity on the connection between I-5 and State Route 16 will soon wrap. Contractor Skanska plans to open new connected high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes between the two highways for owner Washington State Dept. of Transportation.
