Minority Enterprise Development Week
Baltimore City Mayor Bernard C. "Jack" Young, the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business, and the Mid-Atlantic Region Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Advanced Manufacturing Center – Baltimore Office will host the 2019 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) / Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SDI) Week on Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11, 2019.
In addition to a press conference kickoff and Minority business enterprise tours, Baltimore MedWeek will include a Federal Procurement Fair hosted in collaboration with U.S. Senator Benjamin L. Cardin's Office, and a Minority Manufacturing Symposium, hosted in collaboration with Center strategic partner, the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland.

The theme of the week is Inform, Instruct, Inspire. Baltimore MEDWeek 2019 was created to raise awareness about the critical role minority and women-owned businesses play in Baltimore at a time when area minority-owned companies need support the most and to offer business owners an opportunity to network and learn about new trends in the industry.

Event dates and highlights follow. We look forward to seeing you there.

We asked Mid-Atlantic Region Advanced Manufacturing Center clients their top priority business needs, and marketing assistance was a resounding response. We listened and have put together two tracts for the event.
