The selected candidate will train and work under our Vehicle Licensing Agent and will handle registrations, renewals and title transfers for automobiles, boats, trucks, trailers and the like. Council Approves RFP for Digital General Store

On a 6-1 vote last night the Bainbridge Island City Council last night approved a motion to issue an RFP seeking proposals for a Bainbridge Island Digital General Store. The proposals will be evaluated by a yet to be determined committee comprised of City Staff and Councilmembers. The committee will select a proposal and bring it back to the Council for final approval.

Councilman Joe Deets, who led the effort, will be working with the Deputy City Manager on drafting the Request For Proposal.

The Chamber, the Downtown Association, Chamber members Natalie Rodriguez, Stefan Goldby, Mayor Leslie Schneider, as well as others, worked on developing the General Store e-commerce concept that will also likely include training for business people unfamiliar with doing e-commerce.
