A PRAYER FOR APRIL
BY KATIE HIGGINS, ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT OF MISSION
|
God With Us,
Accompany us as we prepare to enter into the mystery
of Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection.
In the midst of our doubts, our sufferings, and our sorrows,
assure us of your loving presence and gentle power at work
bringing forth love in the face of fear,
bringing forth hope when all seems lost,
bringing forth life out of death.
May our journey with you transform us ever more fully
into an Easter people of love, hope, and life.
Amen.

ONLINE LEARNING & ACTIVITIES
|
|
In light of concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, Magnificat canceled all on-campus classes, activities, and events effective Friday, March 13. Faculty spent two days preparing to transition to online learning, and online classes commenced on Wednesday, March 18. Below is a sample of what our students and faculty have been up to since then...
|
|
During online learning, each class 'meets' twice a week, during which time they interface with their teacher via Google Meet, complete assignments and assessments, watch a video, and/or work on a group project.
|
|
Although adaptations need to be made, students continue on with projects that were already planned, and new curriculum continues to be introduced as the semester moves forward. In this photo, Communications & Research students deliver their :30 pitch by submitting videos for their classmates to critique.
