As Carrillo principal, Lori Conner facilitated the creation of a magnet program that resulted in full integration and closing the achievement gap for minority students in 2018, sustaining an “A” rating from the Arizona State

Submit Your Speaking Proposal for April 2021 Conference
We are now accepting presentation proposals for the April 2021 Clark County conference. You must submit a new proposal even if you were accepted for the 2020 conference and deferred.

Proposals are being considered for both robust virtual offerings, as well as our traditional in-person presentations. We will only be hosting in-person gatherings if and when safe to do so.

RFPs must be submitted on/before Tuesday, December 15, 2020 for best consideration. Submit your proposal now.
2021 Magnet Student Poster Contest
To celebrate National Magnet Schools Month in February, Magnet Schools of America is sponsoring the 2021 Magnet Student Poster Contest. We encourage all districts to involve their magnet students in this exciting and educational project. MSA is looking forward to receiving many innovative, student-created posters. See the application packet.

As part of the celebration, Magnet Schools of America is sponsoring its 15th Annual National Magnet Schools Poster Contest, and invites entries from elementary, middle and high magnet schools. Plan to enter this exciting and fun student-based project. The deadline to enter is Thursday, January 21, 2021 to be eligible. Submit your entry now.
