Enroll as a Certified Medical Professional Volunteer with the US Department of Homeland Security FEMA Emergency Management Institute & National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer (CVM)

Attention All Physicians (Retired or still practicing full/part time), Students, Lay persons:  Are you are interested in volunteering?
The Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer known as CVM, is asking volunteers to register by submitting two training certificates and then completing a background check.  Once cleared, you can be deployed to fill a volunteer need.  And before you ask, Yes,  everyone will need to complete the two trainings despite their educational background.

The two trainings are FEMA ICS 100c and ICS 700b and can be found here:


Additionally, you will also need a FEMA Student ID number to take the classes. You can get that here   https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register

Upcoming Event Cancellations
On behalf of the ADEMS Board of Directors, we are sending well wishes and support to all of our medical family during this very difficult and stressful time. We have made a difficult decision on cancelling upcoming meetings through May to comply with current CDC recommendations to help prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and to work with our contracted vendors.
These events include:
  • Springfest at BreckenRidge Brewery on April 18th, 
  • Medical Spanish and Cultural Competency classes at DMS April 24-27th and April 28-29th 
  • ADEMS May Annual Meeting and Social scheduled for May 28th at Glenmoor.  

We will continue to work to keep you informed when and if these events are rescheduled.  Thank you for your understanding.
PPE Information in ADEMS area
Douglas County Physicians:
Any physicians in Douglas County can request a form sent to their email to submit PPE requests.  Please note the county is forwarding this onto the state, and they are asking you to exhaust all resources before utilizing this request.  Also, they are asking your request be specific units (each, pair, etc.) and boxes or cases.  Email Andrea at ADEMSstaff@gmail.com to receive form.  Instructions to submit form will be included.  


Arapahoe County Physicians:
Utilize this linked portal for your request.  They also will be forwarding needs on to the state, and request you exhaust all resources before making your request.

Physician Only COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall - Tomorrow!
