Fly Eagles Fly for a great cause. The Princeton held its 15^th Anniversary for the charity Friend in Need. For Locals. By Locals. The event was super sweet as our E-A-G-L-E-S played in the LII Super Bowl and of course you know the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles played their hearts out.

Ocean Drive is Getting a Makeover
The schedule has been posted for the resurfacing of Ocean Drive between 62^nd Street to 29^th Street. The new road surface plus additional drainage will be split into two phases, the first phase (62^nd to 46^th Street) to begin at the end of this month. The second phase (29^th to 46^th Street) to begin the end of April.

Sonar Study Planned for the Eighth Street Jetty
FEMA has accepted Avalon's Borough Engineer, Thomas Thornton's explanation that last year's winter storm was responsible for damage to the jetty. Break out the sonar study. Coastal Research Center of Stockton University will do a side-scan sonar study of the underwater portions of the jetty so engineers can see the damage below the water line. (Cape May County Herald)

39^th Street Construction
Work will be done from Dune Drive to 1_st Avenue on the sewer main project and the repaving of the street with help in funded by a local aid grant.

Stone Harbor Property Revaluation
The new assessment ordered by the Cape May County Board of Taxation is complete as of February 22^nd for the entire borough. Vital Communications is handling all inquiries regarding the new assessments.
