Welcome to the March 2020 issue of the MassMobility newsletter!
What does mobility mean in the context of a pandemic? Whereas we usually look for creative ways to expand mobility, we are tasked now with finding creative ways to stay home, to help others stay home, and to focus on safety for those trips that cannot be postponed or replaced. Even during a pandemic, people still need access - access to medical care, access to groceries, access to hear a loved one's voice by phone or video chat. Many of you - our readers - are on the front lines every day serving older adults, people with disabilities, and others who lack access to services or mobility options. Thank you all for your hard work every day, and the extra hours you are putting in during this pandemic. We invite you to share your creative strategies with us - the ways you're adapting to the current ever-changing situation to help your consumers meet their needs.
