In this online community, library patrons will connect with each other to read and discuss books whenever they have the time. There is no cost to participate - you just have to get a copy of the book to enjoy! The Book Club will connect through a private forum where all participants can discuss the current book and network with each other on their own time. The Group will spend approximately two months on each book so you will have plenty of time to read and discuss.

Starting in January we will add another Bereavement Group session - the group will now meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. This bereavement support group provides a positive, nurturing, confidential setting to learn ways to manage and cope with the death of a loved one. Groups are facilitated by experienced bereavement professionals and are FREE of charge.

Registration in advance is required. Please contact Emily Davern, LICSW, Bereavement Coordinator at VNA Hospice, at 508-740-2342 for additional information and to register. Please note that we will need a minimum number of registrants to hold this meeting.

The Barnstable Council on Aging
Caregiver/Support Services Coordinator will be available at the OVL to assist with resources for caregivers and Barnstable citizens age 60+. The Caregiver/Support Services will provide resources and educational programs that benefit our residents and those receiving care.
