DASA Training Spring &
Summer Sessions
|
The Alberti Center is an approved provider of the NYSED DASA Training workshops. Registration for online summer sessions is now at maximum capacity, but new sessions will be opened up by mid-September. Registration information and session dates are available on our
DASA page.
Recent participants have said:
I feel very empowered because I learned important information that will help me to create a safe, inviting environment for my students.
Emotions that I experienced today included trust, success and encouragement. I found Part 2 of the DASA training to give me direct tools to use with students, parents and all stakeholders involved in the school community. This gave me a sense of trust in the training program and trust in myself when implementing the resources moving forward. I also felt a sense of success when completing the assignments. I felt encouragement when completing Module 4 for our schools in regards to the module focused on cultural competency and the impact of implicit bias. This module would not have been included years earlier which shows necessary growth when discussing race and social injustice.
