September 2020
Dear Fellow Deans,

After an extraordinary summer of planning and preparing, we did open the campus on schedule for the fall semester for on-the-ground operations—a true tribute to the teamwork displayed by administrators, support staff, faculty, students and community. I am also pleased to share our Annual Report, so you can learn more about our students, our faculty, the Willumstad Winning Edge initiatives and our many events on campus.

Stay safe!

IMPACT—Bonding to Benefit Across Boundaries

Adelphi signed an agreement with Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Germany on a project in which faculty from the Willumstad School are partnering this fall with their foreign counterparts to teach courses simultaneously and virtually in the United States and in Germany. Three courses, in business communication, entrepreneurship and human resources, are providing a unique international learning experience to students in both countries.
INNOVATION—Campus Converted to Combat COVID-19

From social distancing markers on the floor, to fewer workstations in the classroom, to plexiglass shields as transparent barriers to intercept the virus, to required mask wearing, the School and the University have created an amazing hygienic environment for our students. An easy-to-use app enables all to be on campus, where they aver—as part of an honor code—their (good) state of health.
ENGAGEMENT—Advisory Boards: Advice, Aid and Access
The members of our three advisory boards, representing a wide range of businesses, disciplines and positions, have been an invaluable source of support for the School. Whether ensuring our curriculum is relevant, providing mentoring to students, giving financial support or speaking on contemporary topics, they remain intensely engaged, virtually, through these times.
