Opening 2020

Camping season is fast approaching and we are looking forward to reopening and the smell of campfires throughout Fish Lake!

We are aware of the current concerns about the Coronavirus.

This morning YC listened to Face the Nation in which Dr. Anthony Faauci (director of NIAID) said the recommendations regarding control of the Coronavirus are changing rapidly.

One of the consistent recommendations to help keep the public safe is frequent hand washing with warm water and soap. Our ability to turn the water on throughout the campground requires the threat of freezing to pass. That time period is typically mid-April. Without water and washrooms for campers and staff to wash their hands we cannot commit to having In-Person Registration on April 4th as planned.

We will watch the weather to determine the official water turn on date and the official date that our office will be open for In-Person Registration as soon as each are established.

Right now we see no reason that seasonal campers wont be able to enter the campground to rake and check on their trailers on April 4th, HOWEVER, we have to wait until we're closer to that date as the public health advisories change.

Look to our usual communication tools for the most current and accurate updates; the official Fish Lake Beach Facebook page, CampersApp alerts and emails sent to all seasonal campers.

Fish Lake Beach is a family business of 81 years.  We think back to different difficult times that our parents and grandparents endured. One thing that always gives us comfort is a saying that our Mom, Yvonne, had. She would tell us "This too shall pass". And you know, Mom is always right! Wishing you peace, strength, health, and happy thoughts of good times at Fish Lake Beach.

We cannot wait to see you soon!
