On Monday, November 18, the Department of Taxes, with representatives of other state agencies, will host events in Addison County as part of Gov. Phil Scott's second Capitol for a Day tour. Gov. Scott, along with his cabinet and extended cabinet, is visiting each of Vermont's 14 counties to host events, tour facilities and projects, and meet with citizens.

Do you have trouble understanding how your education property tax is calculated? If you do, you're not alone! The Tax Department has prepared a presentation to help explain this extremely complex calculation.
