  • Join us this Friday, January 10 @6pm for the opening reception of  Winter Interlude, Wilton Library's first art exhibition of the new year. Nine area artists are showcased. Reception is free and open to the public. Exhibition runs through January 30.

WLA/WHS Scholarly Series -- Jazzed Up: The History of Jazz in America
Five Lectures: January 16 through April 5, 2020
In the thirteenth year of the collaboration between Wilton Library and the Wilton Historical Society, the scholarly lecture series will focus on the theme, Jazzed Up: The History of Jazz in America. The series locations are Wilton Library and the Wilton Historical Society. The series is sponsored by Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.; media sponsor is The Wilton Bulletin. Wilton Youth Council - Vaping: What You Need to Know

Please join us for this interactive session when Elizabeth Jorgensen, CADC, will discuss the short- and long-term effects of vaping, nicotine, and marijuana use. In this workshop, participants will learn: vital information about vaping/JUULing, including what the most popular devices look like and how they are used; the connection between addiction and underlying mental health issues such as anxiety; current research on the risks of vaping, including its potential to serve as a gateway to alcohol, opioid or THC abuse; how to talk with your teens and intervene, if necessary. Breast Cancer Survivors' Support Group

Post-treatment breast cancer survivors are invited to join in this monthly support group led by Nina Marino, LCSW. Nina was the Clinical Director of the former Breast Cancer Survival Center and is a breast cancer survivor.  More info & register
CT Poetry Society Workshop

Cozy Sweater Mittens

Let's upcycle! Instead of tossing out old wool sweaters, learn how to transform them into warm, cozy mittens. Bring a good pair of scissors and we'll supply the rest of the goods. Materials fee of $5 is payable in advance. For ages 18+.  More info & register
