 Sharing in the Montessori Magic!

What a FANTASTIC turnout we had last night at our 2019 Bring Your Parents/Guardians to School Night! We were thrilled to welcome so many families to the Thursday night event, and enjoyed watching as they discovered and enjoyed the power of the Montessori approach to learning alongside their children.

Each room was filled with curious adults and their willing young student-teachers. Please take a peak at some of the shared moments shown below.

While everyone was in the house, we opened up the Fall Book Fair for an evening shop. A HUGE thank you to the Book Fair Team who worked to keep the fair in good order and the lines moving.
Thank you Lauren DuPaul,   Gina, Kristin R., Alicia, Lauren Doukas, Jen Z., Frank, and Sarah! They worked so hard this week to make the Fair look great and made it so easy for the students to make great reading choices!

We'd also like to send our heartfelt gratitude to so many of you who have brought in items for our
Food Pantry and Frank for helping to rebuild the shelving unit that holds all of your generous donations!

  Dressing for the Weather

With the summer now fading, we ask that families please be sure to send children in with appropriate weather gear. As you are aware, the children go outside unless the temperature is below 20 degrees and/or there is inclement weather (rain, snow). Good footwear and outer wear are key for a positive recess experience. Thanks for your help in making that happen!

Montessori Moments...
The Green Thumb Club got off to an amazing start this week. Ms. Melissa, creative as always, also created a mentor component to the Club. Thanks for all the great work, Melissa, and thanks to Jen Z for your assistance this week! Enjoy the photos from the first day of the Club:
