Boy Scout Troop 35
The local Boy Scout Troop 35 in DeForest is having their annual wreath sale, and if you are looking to decorate your home or business for the holidays, the scouts would love to help provide you with beautiful natural decorations, made right here in Wisconsin!

30% of all sales benefit the local troop directly, and there is a wide variety of items, from poinsettias to traditional wreaths to pots, in sizes to fit your specific needs.

Wreath orders are due in by October 16th; they will be delivered on or after November 17th. Payments can be made when the wreaths are delivered.

If you are interested in looking at the offerings the scouts have, please send an email to Rebecca Schmitt: (lotsofteapots21@gmail.com)
and she will have a scout contact you.

October: Breast Cancer Awareness month:
Partner with the American Cancer Society
In the month of October, the American Cancer Society is striving to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. Apart from skin cancers, breast cancer is the most common cancer type in women. As a partner you are joining a movement to save lives and fund the future. Partnering during breast cancer awareness month will allow your dollars to fund new breast cancer research, provide 24/7 support for cancer patients and give access to lifesaving screenings.

Seeking one male leader in the DeForest Windsor Area community who can represent Wisconsin in the ‘real men wear pink’ campaign. This individual will be passionate about fighting breast cancer, will commit to wearing pink at least a few times in October, post on social media, and raise some funds to support breast cancer treatment and research.
