KEY INFORMATION TODAY
Haskell CISD made a decision today to remain closed until April 6, 2020. Please stay tuned for more information.

Haskell County made the decision today to close the courthouse to the public. The staff will be working and are available via phone and email to answer questions and conduct business. They can meet you at the door with forms, etc., that may be needed. Please visit their website for all phone numbers.

The Haskell Library has also closed, but staff will be working. If you have special requests, please give them a call and they will try to help.

The Food Pantry will be open this Saturday. They have adjusted to curb-side pick up only from 10-11:30. Their building is located across from the Civic Center.

China Wok restaurant has closed until further notice.
POTENTIAL WEATHER
We are still in the path of some dangerous weather this evening. Please watch your weather channels/apps and make sure you have a safe place to go should it be needed.
AROUND TOWN
We will keep you updated on local calendar of events and closings.

  • The Drug Store in Haskell is limiting services to the drive through and curb side pick up/drop off only. The public will not be able to come into the store at this time. For curbside service, please call (940) 864-2673. At-home delivery also is available. This applies to prescription, OTC and gift items.

  • The Haskell Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has postponed the Wild Horse Prairie Car Show and the Annual Chamber Banquet. A new date will be announced soon.

  • The local Driver's License office is also closed to the public unless you already have a driving test scheduled. If you have a test scheduled, please call 940-864-2448, and she will meet you downstairs. Please do as much as you can online.

  • Modern Way Supermarket will continue to remain open during normal business hours from 7am to 9pm, 7 days a week. They are cleaning the store throughout the day, as well as cleaning after hours. They are receiving trucks and restocking shelves to make sure we have the supplies you will need. They have extended curbside pickup to Monday through Saturday for your convenience. If you cannot get out of your house Modern Way will deliver to your home, call (940) 864-3763 in orders Monday thru Saturday 8am to 2pm.
  • Summit Supply has free delivery service or you can phone ahead, and they will bring your items to your car for Curbside Pickup. Call (940) 864-8551 for more details, scheduling and payment processes
  • Haskell-Stamford Star as an online version available for your convenience. If you are a current subscriber, contact the office at (325) 773-5100 and they will set that up for free. (A huge shout out to Audra for helping with updates!)
  • Church Services - Talk with your church about online options they have for watching services from home. KVRP has church services on the radio on Sunday mornings as well.
  • Experienced Citizen’s Center has suspended indoor dining and is doing curb side pickup only. They will continue to deliver meals for home-bound.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has just released assistance for disaster recovery. However, you should check with your local banks first.

Renew your driver's license online as the office is closed to the public. We have been told tickets will not be issued for expired tags at this time.

It is a great time to complete your Census online. This data helps with services and programs offered in Haskell.
