Dear friends of Strong Tower Ranch:
Praise the Lord!! The Lord is our Shepherd; we shall NOT lack or want. Be at rest in the pasture and protection of the Good Shepherd.
As you are well aware, the COVID-19 virus is on everyone’s minds and is changing the course of how we live our lives.
As part of the leadership team, we wanted to share with you what is on our hearts and what we are practically doing at the ranch to ensure the well-being of our employees, staff, volunteers and every person who might visit the ranch.
First of all, we are holding fast to Psalm 91. “...His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.”(Psalm 91:4-6 NLT) When we make the Lord our refuge, and when we make the Most-High our shelter, no evil will conquer us. We don’t have to be afraid and better yet, we can be a refuge for the world. While the world reacts in fear and anxiety, we can rest in His promises and live out our lives with great peace and joy even in the midst of great difficulty. We trust in the Lord with all of our hearts, not leaning on our own human understanding but acknowledging our Savior and Provider. Our hope is in God alone. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe”. (Proverbs 18:10) At this time, we have the opportunity to be the sweet reassuring fragrance of Christ as we walk out these circumstances with the world around us.
On a practical basis, effective immediately:
1. Strong Tower Ranch is suspending all programs- this includes GATES, REMNANTS, and SPURS.
2. We believe it is prudent to honor the requests of our local and federal governments and to do our part to help minimize the possibility of transmitting the virus. Therefore, the Ranch will be closed to the general public until further notice.
3. We will still be monitoring our phone, email and Facebook. Please reach out to us and let us know if there is anything you need or how we can pray for you and your family.
4. STRBeyond, our major fundraiser, is scheduled for April 17. At the end of March, we will reevaluate the situation and will reschedule the fundraiser if necessary. Because of this, early-bird pricing will still be in effect until the end of March.
