March 15, 2020 RRCC Update

Good evening, RRCC family!

I thought it might be helpful to share a little bit about our worship experience this morning, and to communicate a couple of other things.

There were approximately 48 - 50 in worship this morning.
Randy was ill, and a number of choir members were absent, but those who attended did a beautiful job with today's anthem "Living Hope" under Perry's direction.
We made it a point to practice "social distancing" today, which meant no Passing of the Peace, the children stayed in their seats for the children's message, offering was received (but the plates weren't passed--congregants brought their offerings to the plates on a table), and communion was only symbolic.
Our pre-worship snacks had been individually pre-bagged (thank you, Jennifer), and Anna Marie poured coffee while wearing gloves. Also wearing gloves, Deborah handed out worship bulletins.

From our Worship Ministry Team: Please note that until further notice there will be no snacks or coffee on Sunday morning. Heads up to all who look forward to these treats and to you all who provide them.

Dorothy Sue Simpson -- (sister-in-law of Marilyn Davis) injured in auto accident
