DOT to offer free winter roadway safety equipment to "Open Restaurants" participants:
NYC DOT is offering free sandbags, reflective tape, and snow sticks to all Open Restaurant participants to help protect their outdoor dining set-ups for the winter.
The Bronx pick-up times and locations are 9am - 1pm, Mondays 11/30 and 12/7:

Telemundo47 featured the generosity and Thanksgiving spirit of La Masa (1000 Morris Park Avenue), that provided 350 Thanksgiving meals and fresh produce to families in need. E-bikes legally allowed starting 11/23/20:
all e-bikes (Class 1-3) are allowed as of 11/23/20 and may use bike lanes. Helmets required for Class 3 riders, all working cyclists and 16-17 old riders!
Fresh produce distribution and the MPBID Avenue NYC project updates
In the framework of our "Avenue NYC" project, the MPBID conducted 60 consumer surveys on the Williamsbridge Avenue commercial corridor on November 19th. We were fortunate to partner with "Loving The Bronx" to offer all shoppers filling surveys boxes of free, fresh, farmers' market quality produce. Thank you Nilka Martell and all "Loving the Bronx" volunteers for your support to Morris Park!
