Application Opens Soon for National Online Juried Show

American Women Artists is thrilled to announce our 2021 National Online Juried Show, Lifting the Sky: Elevating the Works of American Women Artists. As the uncertainty of COVID continues, AWA has decided to host an all-virtual exhibition year. This online exhibit will take the place of our 25 in 25 museum show (postponed to 2022) and will be open to all levels of membership. 

The show offers an array of awards, such as a $10,000 Grand Prize and a gallery show at the Phoenix Zoo's Savanah Gallery, as well as other cash and merchandise awards. Lifting the Sky will feature 150 representational and abstract works, including paintings, drawings, and sculpture. 

The application submission period is November 15, 2020 - February 10, 2021. Show prospectus and application can be found on OnlineJuriedShows.com

Opportunities for Artists

ArtFields | Artists based in the Southeastern US are invited to apply for the chance to win a portion of $100,000 in cash prizes and have their work showcased in this nine-day competition and exhibition. 

A.I.R. Fellowship ProgramSix underrepresented and emerging NYC metropolitan area-based artists who self-identify as women or non-binary will each be awarded year-long fellowships to develop and exhibit a project at A.I.R. 

The Hopper Prize The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for its Fall 2020 artist grants. The organization is offering five grants in the amount of US$1,000. This is an international open call. All media is eligible. 
Realism Live

REALISM LIVE, October 21 - 24, 2020, features art instruction demonstrations, talks on art principles, lectures on art history, painting critiques, and artist roundtable discussions. Participants will use Streamline's community platform to interact, and live painting from live models will take place for all attendees.
