Recycling Leader

RVCC was recently honored as one of New Jersey's 2019 Recycling Leaders by the state's Department of Environmental Protection. Nine businesses, organizations and individuals were honored at the 39th Annual Association of New Jersey Recyclers symposium, held last month at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.

The College was honored in the "Outstanding Educator/Education Program" category for its recycling program involving bagless office recycling bins with small "buddy" bins for waste. RVCC undertook a comprehensive outreach and education plan to promote the new program and is seeing impressive results, with 80-95 percent of recyclables generated now being recycled.

Website Wins Gold

RVCC's revamped website, designed by eDesign, was recently honored with a Gold W³ Award in the School/University category. The W³ Awards celebrate digital excellence by honoring outstanding websites, web marketing, video, mobile sites/apps and social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

The W³ is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms.
