To Our Community:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Sid Jacobson JCC and in conjunction with our staff we have made the decision to keep our facilities closed through Sunday, March 29. During this time we will be evaluating and planning what parts of the building we can safely open to best service our community.

We are not aware of any reports of individuals having been in our facility who have tested positive for Covid-10. We are listening to health experts who say the best way to keep everyone safe at this time is through social distancing. We want to be part of the solution, to blunt the spread of this virus.

During this time, full-time staff will continue to work on behalf of the communities they serve. We will be using Zoom meetings, WhatsApp, Google, and streaming technologies to conduct business virtually, as well as phone and conference calls to contact vulnerable populations. We are committed to reaching our members where they are and are dedicating our time to developing programs beyond walls to bring SJJCC to you.

To stay current with all communications and updates, please regularly check our COVID-19  web page , and sign up for text alerts by messaging 88588 to SJJCC18. Should you need to report an emergency to SJJCC, please email us at  emergencies@sjjcc.org .

Remember that while our facilities may be closed, we are still working for our community. Please let us know how you are coping, how we can support you, what you or your family may need. Our staff, which includes our social workers, remains available to you.  Our website, www.sjjcc.org lists the email of all staff. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

During these unprecedented times, we remain a community. We can stay close while we keep our distance. We thank you always for your understanding and your support. We will get through this.

Stay safe and healthy,
