Garland voters will consider eight bond propositions in the May 4 General Election.
Proposition A relates directly to Streets and Transportation. This proposition includes $122,250,000 to finance street improvements including, sidewalks, alleys, bridges, intersections, screening walls, streetscape, wayfinding, fixtures, entryway signs and other traffic flow improvements.
Proposition G includes $6 million to construct, improve, renovate and equip existing municipal facilities. Anticipated improvements include Street Department facility renovation and Transportation Maintenance and Operations Facility renovation.
