The Teen’s Quarterly Writing Contest is back for the fall! Entries will be due in
late November. Our theme this fall is journey. Bonus points if your story is 
autumn themed! Free optional journals are available at the library. If you are interested please email zoe.grimes@collegedalepubliclibrary.org

Participants in November's National Novel Writing Month
may pick up your choice of calendar.

New Book Club starting November 3 @ 7:00
Introducing the Women’s Interest Book Club! Are you interested
in exploring books by women, about issues that impact women?
If so, we invite you to join our brand-new adult book club.
Our first book is Bossypants by Tina Fey. Copies are available through our curbside pickup service or online through Tennessee READS.
Meetings will be on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

Zombie Invasion!
Tuesday, October 27, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Oh no! Zombies are everywhere! Our scientists are working hard to find a cure, but they need your help. Be sure to wear a mask and stay
6 feet apart to keep from getting infected by zombies.
Call the library (423-396-9300) to reserve a time for this escape-room style adventure for all ages, but best suited to school-age children. Families are encouraged to play and solve the puzzles together. All activities will
be outdoors with stations along the Greenway behind the library. 
Costumes are strongly encouraged! 
You must register with the library to reserve a time!
