LFHS Second Semester Exam Schedule and Information
During the second semester, all students will participate in exams for their classes. Semester exams cannot be worth more than 20% of a student’s grade. Additionally, all exams will be administered and/or completed virtually during the time frame indicated in the exam schedule. Since no students will have more than two course exams on a given day, there is no need for requests for altered times. Students are expected to engage during the time outlined in the schedule. If there is any extenuating circumstance that prohibits a student from participating in exams as scheduled, please contact the Director of Teaching and Learning, Dr. Alan Wahlert ( awahlert@lfschools.net).

Gratitude for Investing in Educational Excellence at LFHS
Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for the LFHS Foundation’s 11th Annual Spring Luncheon - Celebrating Educational Excellence. A huge round of applause for Maureen Fitzgerald, Natalie Moore and Mary Kay Hanlon, this year’s event co-chairs, for their tireless efforts which resulted in a delightful hybrid event. We are very grateful to Dr. Elizabeth Lombardo for giving of her time to speak to our guests about “Staying Sane During Times of Uncertainty.”
We’d also like to thank our generous Underwriting Sponsors: The Fitzgerald Family, the Korczak Family & Adams Street Partners, the Laufenberg Family, and the Shearstone Family. We appreciate GEM Financial Advisors, Knauz Autopark, and Pepper Construction for sponsoring this year’s auction. Thanks to Flowers by Katie Ford for sponsoring this year’s centerpieces, PostNet for being our print sponsor and Toffee Traditions for being our gift bag sponsor. We are also thankful for all of our General Sponsors: Budget Blinds, Lake Forest Pediatric Dentistry, Mariani Landscape, Morgan’s Lake Forest True Value Hardware, Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, John & Elizabeth Olsen, and Sunset Foods.
So many people supported this event by helping to plan it, donating auction items, buying raffle tickets, and participating in the auction. Soon we will be sending out an email with more details about all those folks and the funds we were able to raise together. We greatly appreciate and rely on the support of our community in all that we do to support LFHS.
