PAW PRINTS
January 7, 2022
Dear SMCS Parents,

Happy New Year! Thank you for a great first week back at school. I appreciate all your support and patience as we continue to navigate COVID-19.

During our Christmas break, we had 23 lab-confirmed COVID cases reported to us from students and staff. These additional cases bring the total number of lab confirmed COVID cases among students and staff to over 40 cases for this school year.

Nurse Diaz and I continue to monitor the situation in our school community and in the greater Houston area. We are very thankful that we have been able to continue to keep students at school and learning in-person. Special thanks to the SMCS staff for their flexibility and hard work to cover classes for staff members who are out.

The next couple of weeks will be very busy with the end of the 2nd quarter, Catholic Schools' Week, and the parent party on Friday, February 4th.

Thank you again for all of your support. Have a safe and healthy weekend!

Blessings,
Dr. Kathleen Cox

and reserve your spot to Sign-Up Parties scheduled for the Spring.

Underwriting tables and tickets now available online: one.bidpal.net/smcsparentparty

General admission tickets will go on sale January 2022 for $150 per guest.
