Birch Bay Library News - Special Election February 8th, 2022
We, the Board of Directors of the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce, unanimously support the Birch Bay Vogt Community Library building project. We realize the significant role libraries play as educational, community, and cultural centers. Libraries bring economic vitality and literacy to a community thus enhancing the quality of life.

“The purpose of the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce is to promote, encourage and coordinate cooperation and civil exchange between all elements of the community; and to promote, enhance and advocate for the civic, commercial, economic, recreational, and general welfare interest of the Birch Bay area.” (Article 2 BBCC Bylaws)

“Libraries are essential. They are important cornerstones of a healthy community.”  Therefore, we heartily endorse this endeavor and would encourage all to help provide the needed resources to make this library building project a reality for the community of Birch Bay.
Birch Bay Ring of Fire
The Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce gave out over almost 200 flares for this year's Ring of Fire & Hope. Thanks to Brooks Friedland & Dave Hiller of eXp Realty, Tay's Safety Supply & The Bay Center Market for helping to provide this year's flares.
Also a huge thanks to Beach Cat Brewing Co. & The Beach at Birch Bay for letting us use their location to and out flares this year!
We were joined on the shores of Birch Bay at 7 PM for the annual lighting of the flares!
Birch Bay 39th Annual Polar Bear Plunge
Thanks to everyone who braved the cold and snow to join us for the 39th annual Polar Bear Plunge! We are still trying to figure out the exact number of plungers this year, but we had about 80 people pre-registered the day before the event and many more who registered on New Year's Day! We will post a video of the plunge on our YouTube Channel soon - Make sure to subscribe to our channel there so you don't miss it!
