Hello friends,

I am writing to update you on our 10 th  Annual conference scheduled for May 5, 2020. First and foremost, the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance will be following the guidance of Governor Baker and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services regarding the novel coronavirus, COVID-19

Based on the latest information shared as of today, we plan to hold our conference on May 5 th  but want to assure all those interested in attending on a few important points:

1.     The health and well-being of those who would be presenting at, participating in and attending the conference are our top priority at the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance. We will be using the next 30 days to gauge the feasibility of holding the conference in May or possibly rescheduling for Fall of 2020.

2.     To ensure all of you feel comfortable registering, we will honor your registration in the event of postponement, as well as honor refunds at any point. We know that it is hard to commit when there are so many factors in flux and with information changing daily, and again, I want to assure all of you that we will honor refunds throughout the process.

3.     We will offer updated information about the conference on both the MACA website as well as on the conference website . Additionally, we will share updated information via email.

Please do not hesitate to be in touch with me or any of the staff at MACA as we all navigate the next couple of months.

Although my message is going to a community committed to helping others, please also take care of yourselves. With confidence in our leadership in this amazing Commonwealth, I look forward to the time when we look back on these days filled with pride of how we responded and tended to others.

Sincerely,

Thomas M. King, LICSW
